Join us in restoring the missing “M” in accommodation
This platform is dedicated to protecting and advancing the accommodation rights of workers suffering from psychological, emotional, and physical disabilities in the workplace. Our mission is to educate, empower, and support injured workers who face systemic barriers, discrimination, retaliation, and procedural unfairness.
Our mission and purpose
The main idea of this “Join Us” page is to invite people to come together and actively support a shared effort to strengthen and restore fairness in accommodation rights. It frames the “Missing M” as a symbol of what is currently being overlooked or missing in the way accommodation is understood and applied. The page is calling for collective action to bring that missing piece back through awareness, advocacy, and community support. It is also a direct invitation for participation — encouraging injured workers, volunteers, community members, advocacy groups, lawyers, and organizations to contribute their time, skills, and voices. The goal is to build a united effort where different people and groups work together to help “find the Missing M” and push for more fair, accessible, and meaningful accommodation outcomes for those affected.

Who we hope to reach
This page is intended to reach a wide and diverse group of people who can help strengthen and support the mission of improving accommodation rights. We are especially hoping to reach injured workers who have lived experience navigating accommodation challenges, as their voices are central to this movement. We also want to connect with advocates, community support workers, and disability organizations who are already working in related spaces and can help expand awareness and impact. In addition, we are reaching out to lawyers, legal professionals, and human rights organizations who can provide guidance, expertise, and advocacy support. Employers and workplace stakeholders are also an important audience, as meaningful change requires understanding and cooperation from all sides. Finally, we welcome any individuals, volunteers, or community members who are willing to contribute time, energy, or skills. This includes anyone who believes in fairness, inclusion, and the goal of “finding the Missing M”.
Injured workers
Your lived experiences are vital to understanding the challenges and advocating for effective change in accommodation rights. Your voice can make a difference.
Advocates & professionals
We seek community support workers, disability organizations, lawyers, and human rights organizations to lend their expertise and support to our cause.
Why join Accomodation Rights?
The biggest benefit of getting involved with Accommodation Rights is the opportunity to be part of a collective effort that directly supports fairness, dignity, and equal treatment for injured workers and people facing workplace-related challenges. By joining, individuals are not only contributing to awareness and change, but also helping build a stronger support system where accommodation is understood, respected, and properly applied. It gives people a chance to use their lived experience, professional expertise, or community support to make a real impact in addressing gaps that often leave vulnerable individuals without proper protection. Ultimately, getting involved means being part of a movement that works toward ensuring no one is overlooked in the accommodation process—helping to “find the Missing M” and restore fairness in practice, not just in principle.
If you would like to join us in finding the Missing "M", please complete the form below. This is a completely free community support initiative — we do not charge fees or provide payment, as the effort is fully voluntary and driven by shared commitment. We are looking for injured and disabled workers, community members, lawyers and legal professionals, elected officials, doctors, nurses, healthcare and support workers, advocacy organizations, businesses, donors, researchers, and other professionals willing to contribute their time and skills.
By contributing your time, you are demonstrating a serious commitment to helping individuals who require workplace and life accommodations. Our focus is to work directly with injured and disabled workers and those who support them, united by a single goal: ensuring people receive the accommodations they deserve with respect and dignity. We continue this work with persistence and purpose — no shaming, no blaming, only collective effort to find the Missing "M" and make meaningful change.
